Building Committee Updates |

Now we have started. The County approval for site preparation was recently received and our groundbreaking ceremony was held on Saturday, December 17th. Your Building Committee hopes you will drive by the site to keep track of progress yourself but we will try to keep you up to speed with these updates to our web site.
The next major step will be the County building permit for our Parish Life Center. Yes, two major permits are required – one for the site work, the other for the building itself. As you read this our architects and engineers are working with County officials to answer any questions concerning the construction details. This review by the County is to ensure that any new construction will meet federal, state and local regulations concerning public safety and convenience. Your Building Committee does not believe this review will delay the beginning of construction. The site work will take a few months before building construction can begin.
In the meantime, your committee will be making decisions about interior and exterior colors, fabrics and other furnishings.
